Is Seedloaf really free?
Yes. The free tier costs nothing and needs no credit card. A free server runs while players are online and sleeps when it is empty. Premium plans add 24/7 uptime, more resources and no ads.
Can Bedrock players join my server?
Yes. With crossplay, Bedrock players can join the same world as your Java players.
Which Minecraft versions and server types can I run?
Any Java Edition version, including the latest release and snapshots. Choose a vanilla, modded or plugin server, or install a modpack.
Why was Seedloaf created?
Seedloaf was inspired by what the team at PloudOS did. There are many options for free Minecraft servers, but very few that actually work. For some, the hardware is not sufficient. For others, the player restrictions are too severe. We built Seedloaf to be both free and functional.
Will I be locked in?
No. If Seedloaf is not the right fit, you can download your world data and move to a different provider — no questions asked.
How do you make money?
We generate revenue from ads, partnerships, and premium server subscriptions. The baseline service will always be free.
Where are the servers located?
North America, for now. We want to provide the best possible service before we expand into new regions.
