Looking ahead to 2026

We’re beginning the year with several major improvements already in development:

• A premium tier, planned for a phased rollout
• The much-requested roles feature
• A more intuitive and reliable archiving experience

These are only a few of the features planned for the coming months.

More infrastructure for a growing community

Seedloaf grew significantly during 2025. To support that growth and prepare for premium hosting, we’ve allocated multiple new server nodes.

Our backup and archiving rework also means we’re storing many more worlds than before, improving world protection while increasing infrastructure costs.

Keeping Seedloaf sustainable

Operating costs have grown to the point where Seedloaf is running at a significant monthly loss. To help the platform reach break-even, we’re introducing additional advertising.

We’ll keep ads as unobtrusive as possible and vet them for quality. The goal is to sustain and improve Seedloaf for both free and future premium users.
